Spectators: 7783 (Terracing: 5838, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) Tuuri IFK's Anselmi Uotila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isko Hakanpää fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Lagerblom having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Fc Humppa's Tony Hentunen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otto Lagerblom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Fc Humppa getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Visa Kuuttinen hit a great ball. Veli Lehtilä kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Visa Kuuttinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Lagerblom having to interfere. A collision led to Tuuri IFK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Risto Hyökyvaara hit a great ball. Raimo Bruun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Risto Hyökyvaara kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Raimo Bruun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Humppa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimo Bruun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Raimo Bruun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Otto Lagerblom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Tuuri IFK's zone, Isko Hakanpää stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Lagerblom came out of the goal and Isko Hakanpää tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Raimo Bruun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Humppa's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimo Bruun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otto Lagerblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimo Bruun took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Otto Lagerblom. Otto Lagerblom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Raimo Bruun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otto Lagerblom. Tuuri IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimo Bruun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Fc Humppa's goal looked a bit too open when Risto Hyökyvaara came free, but Henrikki Urholin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Humppa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aatos Urholin was slow to take the kick. During this time Tuuri IFK's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Antti Lehti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

With a little luck, Tuuri IFK's Otto Lagerblom got control of the ball when Isko Hakanpää tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrikki Urholin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonas Uusiniemi in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veli Lehtilä during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Fc Humppa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visa Kuuttinen to maneuver through the defense. Isko Hakanpää received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Otto Lagerblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isko Hakanpää sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Lagerblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimo Bruun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimo Bruun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Otto Lagerblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isko Hakanpääs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Otto Lagerblom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Otto Lagerblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimo Bruun, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tuuri IFK's zone, Isko Hakanpää stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otto Lagerblom came out of the goal and Isko Hakanpää tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tuuri IFK's Otto Lagerblom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Tuuri IFK from getting a goal against them.
