With a little luck, Manchester City's Veijo Hagelberg got control of the ball when Miikka Anttila tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksanteri Vehanen came free, but Veijo Hagelberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miikka Anttila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veijo Hagelberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksanteri Vehanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tauno Wahlroos came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauno Wahlroos couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Bossmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topias Mantila to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksanteri Vehanen came free, but Veijo Hagelberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veijo Hagelberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miikka Anttila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Miikka Anttilas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Veijo Hagelberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Veijo Hagelberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvar Kallijärvi to make the kick off. Tauno Wahlroos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eero Koistinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Hemminki Laamanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bossmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester City the free kick. Tauno Wahlroos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eero Koistinen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Rafael Kampman fired a really elegant long shot, but Eero Koistinen threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 65 played minutes Bossmen got a freekick which was hit by Topias Mantila. 68 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksanteri Vehanen came free, but Veijo Hagelberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester City's Veijo Hagelberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksanteri Vehanen in the 69th minute of play. If Aleksanteri Vehanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuli Etula kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Aleksanteri Vehanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bossmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksanteri Vehanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Tauno Wahlroos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tauno Wahlroos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eero Koistinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleksanteri Vehanen struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester City's goalkeeper Veijo Hagelberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Bossmen's Aleksanteri Vehanen made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veijo Hagelberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bossmen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
