If Kullervo Valkealahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pekko Tuomisalo made the kick off in the second half. Petri Petsamo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Topias Manneroos in the 52nd minute of play. In the 62ndth minute of the game Kullervo Valkealahti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liharuusu's Ilari Holtti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rainer Lumijärvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Petsamo having to interfere. With a left leg Ilari Holtti saved Liharuusu from getting behind. Pekko Tuomisalo got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ilari Holtti handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Liharuusu's goalkeeper Ilari Holtti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahti Meriläinen kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Karankamäki's Kullervo Valkealahti managed to work through Liharuusu's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kullervo Valkealahti dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Pekko Tuomisalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kullervo Valkealahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilari Holtti having to interfere. When Karankamäki's Pekko Tuomisalo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Liharuusu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Karankamäki from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
