After having played for 26 minutes, Aatto Sorsamäki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fc yliutos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aatto Sorsamäki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilari Holtti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilkka Kokko, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ilari Holtti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilkka Kokko in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Topias Manneroos to make the kick off. Ilari Holtti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc yliutos. Aatto Sorsamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Liharuusu's goal looked a bit too open when Ilkka Kokko came free, but Ilari Holtti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as fc yliutos's Ilkka Kokko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilari Holtti. That made the score 1-1 after 80 minutes of play. In the 86th minute of the game, Pauli Markkula landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Topias Manneroos's late challenge caught a fc yliutos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Topias Manneroos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Topias Manneroos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Topias Manneroos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Visa Pihkala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Liharuusu's Topias Manneroos in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
