Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kalle Hanninen kicked off to start the match. Sampo Nybacka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Toivo Eerola made a huge save. Erno Jantunen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Toivo Eerola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute of the match, Jouko Ihanamäki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Toivo Eerola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th minute, Åbo club De Futbal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jouko Ihanamäki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 15thth minute of the game Erno Jantunen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åbo club De Futbal's Toivo Eerola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åbo club De Futbal's Toivo Eerola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Åbo club De Futbal from getting a goal against them. Jouko Ihanamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Erno Jantunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jouko Ihanamäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toivo Eerola having to interfere. In the 31st minute, one of Åbo club De Futbal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åbo club De Futbal. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Virgin's Aukusti Heinola got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Toivo Eerola. Ari Juujärvi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jouko Ihanamäki came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Virgin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jouko Ihanamäki couldn't finish the play. When Erno Jantunen came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Virgin fans jumped to their feet. The wind increased when Erno Jantunen made the kick off in the second half. Toivo Eerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erno Jantunen in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Åbo club De Futbal's goal looked a bit too open when Jouko Ihanamäki came free, but Toivo Eerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Virgin's Jouko Ihanamäki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Toivo Eerola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erno Jantunen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toivo Eerola having to make a save. After 63 played minutes Åbo club De Futbal got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Hanninen. Toivo Eerola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jouko Ihanamäki in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Åbo club De Futbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Hanninen to maneuver through the defense. Erno Jantunen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Åbo club De Futbal's Pertti Vähäsavo got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kalle Hanninen got free with Aleksis Korkeakoski in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Ari Juujärvi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Virgin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åbo club De Futbal the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Virgin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Juujärvi to maneuver through the defense. Tauno Kantola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toivo Eerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erno Jantunen in the 91st minute of the match. Toivo Eerola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erno Jantunen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Virgin fully deserved thier win.
