Oiva Rahkonen's late challenge caught a Heinäperä's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oiva Rahkonen helped the player get up and apologised. Oiva Rahkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Herkko Vihermäki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi's Topi Huuhtanen got a free kick in the 15th minute. Salomon Noponen kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jori Forss, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marko Kattilakoski had great luck who in the 22ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Rafael Heinikangas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rafael Heinikangas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marko Kattilakoski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi's Aadolf Liimatainen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teppo Vähäsavo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aatami Kangaskorpi was the one to do the kick off. When Vilhelm Junnila fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heinäperä's protests and gave Vilhelm Junnila a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Heinäperä's Vilhelm Junnila got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aatami Kangaskorpi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jere Uusikartano walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rafael Heinikangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marko Kattilakoski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herkko Vihermäki in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Kattilakoski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Heinäperä's Vilhelm Junnila in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Rafael Heinikangas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi's Marko Kattilakoski.
