Santtu Koivisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Parkkiniemi's Santtu Huhtiniemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Parkkiniemi from getting a goal against them. Santtu Huhtiniemi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantin Korkeakoski in the 21st minute. Konstantin Korkeakoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Santtu Huhtiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Latvanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Santtu Huhtiniemi made a huge save. When Kalle Nummelin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tesoma FC's protests and gave Kalle Nummelin a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match was over Parkkiniemi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tesoma FC throughout the match.
