Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) AC Metro's Rikhard Rimpilä started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rikhard Rimpilä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Santtu Koivisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Tesoma FC's Albert Latvanen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aatami Vihko. Aatami Vihko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Tesoma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Tallqvist came free, but Santtu Koivisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miro Hilden's late challenge caught a Tesoma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miro Hilden helped the player get up and apologised. Miro Hilden hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tommi Tallqvist took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santtu Koivisto. Santtu Koivisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Konstantin Korkeakoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatami Vihko having to interfere. If Konstantin Korkeakoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, AC Metro's goalkeeper Aatami Vihko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Latvanen. Albert Latvanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aatami Vihko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Tesoma FC's Silvo Peuhkuri got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tommi Tallqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santtu Koivisto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Konstantin Korkeakoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Aatami Vihko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aatami Vihko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Latvanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. AC Metro's Rikhard Rimpilä got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rikhard Rimpilä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Santtu Koivisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oiva Rintala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santtu Koivisto having to make a save. AC Metro's Aatami Vihko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Latvanen in the 83rd minute of play. Tommi Tallqvist, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aatami Vihko came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Tesoma FC's Albert Latvanen. But to his dismay, Albert Latvanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. AC Metro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
