Ismo Rahkola in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Herkko Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reima Heinikallio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyljys's Herkko Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kyljys from getting a goal against them. Juhapekka Rönkkö kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heimo Rahikainen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reima Heinikallio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Reima Heinikallio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyljys's Herkko Gustafsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heimo Rahikainen charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heimo Rahikainen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Kyljys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heimo Rahikainen to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ismo Rahkola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyljys's Herkko Gustafsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
