Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miika Huhtiniemi made the kick off which started today's match. Jouni Seikola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvo Nieminen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ahmovaara's Panu Kärnä got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Jouni Seikola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvo Nieminen was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Anselmi Kukkamäki charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmi Kukkamäki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 17 minutes into the match, Ahmovaara's goalkeeper Arvo Nieminen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antto Laaksonen. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ahmovaara's goalkeeper Arvo Nieminen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arvo Nieminen made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Antto Laaksonen sent off a good shot on target. Jouni Seikola might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvo Nieminen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jouni Seikola ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Madrid! After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Jouni Seikola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Jouni Seikola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvo Nieminen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ahmovaara's Arvo Nieminen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iisakki Itäluoma in the 52nd minute of play. Arvo Nieminen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antto Laaksonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aarni Vainio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miika Huhtiniemi in the 56th minute of play. Jouni Seikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antto Laaksonen took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arvo Nieminen. Arvo Nieminen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Antto Laaksonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arvo Nieminen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joona Kanerva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Ahmovaara's goal looked a bit too open when Antto Laaksonen came free, but Arvo Nieminen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Antto Laaksonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmovaara's Aaro Uusipaavalniemi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aarni Vainio. That made the score 2-2 after 91 minutes of play. When Jouni Seikola came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Real Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jouni Seikola couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Ahmovaara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olli-Pekka Alenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Antto Laaksonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Arvo Nieminen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Madrid had played much better football throughout.
