Edvard Paavola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tapio Enola having to interfere. The Kylänlahti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mankala were winning 0-1.

Nikolai Hentunen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eevert Kyrönlahti, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Kylänlahti's Tapio Enola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Paavola in the 57th minute of play. Simo Karjalainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Eevert Kyrönlahti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolai Hentunen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes in the game, Edvard Paavola fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tapio Enola having to interfere. The Mankala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
