Veijo Harinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Herman Viinanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Viinanen made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Eero Nielikäinen sent off a good shot on target. Eero Nielikäinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Herman Viinanen made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Veijo Harinen made a precise shot to the right of Herman Viinanen. Olutkerho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eero Nielikäinens short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Herman Viinanen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Olutkerho getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tarvo Lehtilä hit a great ball. If Eero Nielikäinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Olutkerho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leevi Ketola to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Haukkavaaral IFK fully deserved thier win.
