Myras FC's Eerik Järvenperä played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tapani Lehterä in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Myras FC's zone, Roni Heikkinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerik Järvenperä came out of the goal and Roni Heikkinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Porkanranta's goal looked a bit too open when Keijo Blom came free, but Kari Kaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keijo Vihtilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Kaski having to interfere. Keijo Vihtilä could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Kari Kaski made a huge save. Keijo Vihtiläs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Kari Kaski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Onni Noponen's late challenge caught a Porkanranta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onni Noponen helped the player get up and apologised. Teemu Oksa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Ilppo Hana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roni Heikkinen succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 63 minutes, Tatu Sairanen mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 73rd minute, Tapani Lehterä reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eerik Järvenperä. The goal made the score 1-2. Eerik Järvenperä made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roni Heikkinen in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roni Heikkinen got free with Eerik Järvenperä in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 91st minute, Roni Heikkinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Porkanranta were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Myras FC's much stronger midfield.
