Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Otto Lindström made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martti Torkkeli during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes fc nix got a freekick which was hit by Martti Torkkeli. Jukka Viander didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 6th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Imatran palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Tero Pikkarainen came free, but Tero Kallio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Julius Huttunen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jukka Viander was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 20th minute, Daniel Elo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Julius Huttunen fired a really elegant long shot, but Jukka Viander threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Eetu Haapaniemi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Puutio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jukka Viander made a huge save. In the 24th minute Eetu Haapaniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jukka Viander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Patrik Puutio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julius Huttunen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jukka Viander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Eetu Haapaniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julius Huttunen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Patrik Puutio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, fc nix's goal looked a bit too open when Eetu Haapaniemi came free, but Jukka Viander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind fc nix's goalkeeper Jukka Viander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the fc nix defense, Julius Huttunen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jukka Viander. The fc nix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jukka Viander should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Heimo Räikkönen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jukka Viander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tero Kallio came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by fc nix's Mika Uitto. But to his dismay, Mika Uitto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Julius Huttunen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrik Puutio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julius Huttunen scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jukka Viander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Huttunen in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jukka Viander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jukka Viander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julius Huttunen went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Jukka Viander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eetu Haapaniemi in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Into Kouhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imatran palloseura's supporters rose to their feet, but Into Kouhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jukka Viander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Puutio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jukka Viander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, fc nix's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Puutio came free, but Jukka Viander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imatran palloseura fully deserved thier win.
