In the 6th match minute, Myras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onni Noponen to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Myras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Huttunen came free, but Eerik Järvenperä reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keijo Vihtilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tero Kallio having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keijo Vihtilä got free with Tero Kallio in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julius Huttunen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerik Järvenperä having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Imatran palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Keijo Blom came free, but Tero Kallio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keijo Vihtilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tero Kallio having to interfere. Toni Veikkanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eerik Järvenperä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toni Veikkanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerik Järvenperä having to interfere. Keijo Vihtilä could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Tero Kallio made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Julius Huttunen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eerik Järvenperä. Myras FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julius Huttunen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half Imatran palloseura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Huttunen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Imatran palloseura's Patrik Puutio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eerik Järvenperä was left in no man's land by his defense there! Keijo Vihtilä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tero Kallio having to interfere. Patrik Puutio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Puutio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eerik Järvenperä tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Toni Veikkanen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Imatran palloseura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Veikkanen couldn't finish the play. Eerik Järvenperä showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Huttunen in the 68th minute of the match. If Juhana Karhu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eetu Haapaniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eerik Järvenperä was a little too slow when Eetu Haapaniemi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julius Huttunen in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eerik Järvenperä prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Myras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teemu Oksa to maneuver through the defense. In the 82ndth minute of the game Julius Huttunen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Myras FC's Eerik Järvenperä was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manne Mustonen hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Julius Huttunen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Myras FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Julius Huttunen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With his leg Eerik Järvenperä managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Imatran palloseura's Patrik Puutio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Into Kouhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keijo Vihtilä struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tero Kallio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myras FC. Imatran palloseura played a much better game than Myras FC and deserved their victory. The Myras FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
