Artturi Norrena hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Rasmus Virtanen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eerik Hagelberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Hakaniemi in the 33rd minute of the match. If Jyrki Kuhta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severi Järventaus in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rasmus Virtanen saved Lamperi from getting behind. The Malmsby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lamperi were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jyrki Kuhta to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lamperi's Petri Vallin got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Malmsby getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Aatu Laakso hit a great ball. After 60 minutes, Iisakki Rahkola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamperi and the Malmsby players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Malmsby booed when Lamperi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iisakki Rahkola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lamperi's Rasmus Virtanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esa Elomo in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malmsby! Daniel Hakaniemi might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eerik Hagelberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Hakaniemi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lamperi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
