Timo Viinikainen's late challenge caught a Imatran palloseura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timo Viinikainen helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Porkanranta got a freekick which was hit by Timo Viinikainen. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Into Kouhi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kari Kaski to make any attempt to save it. After 13 played minutes Imatran palloseura got a freekick which was hit by Eetu Haapaniemi. Roni Heikkinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tero Kallio having to interfere. Kari Kaski stood somewhat misplaced when Eetu Haapaniemi came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Into Kouhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imatran palloseura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Into Kouhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Julius Huttunen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kari Kaski, passed just outside the right post. Kari Kaski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eetu Haapaniemi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kari Kaski was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Julius Huttunen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julius Huttunen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. If Patrik Puutio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Hannes Hahl had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julius Huttunen during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Julius Huttunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Julius Huttunen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Huttunen to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrik Puutio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Porkanranta's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Huttunen came free, but Kari Kaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Eetu Haapaniemi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imatran palloseura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Julius Huttunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eetu Haapaniemi might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kari Kaski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eetu Haapaniemi ran back to his position shaking his head. Eetu Haapaniemi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kari Kaski having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Julius Huttunen notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Porkanranta's Kari Kaski. Kari Kaski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Into Kouhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Roni Heikkinen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tero Kallio. The goal made the score 5-1. 74 minutes into the match, Porkanranta's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Puutio came free, but Kari Kaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Imatran palloseura's Julius Huttunen got a free kick in the 76th minute. When Toni Veikkanen fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imatran palloseura's protests and gave Toni Veikkanen a yellow card for diving instead. Toni Veikkanen hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Porkanranta's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Puutio came free, but Kari Kaski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julius Huttunen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kari Kaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Puutio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Kaski having to interfere. When Patrik Puutio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Imatran palloseura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Puutio couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Eetu Haapaniemi notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Porkanranta's Kari Kaski. Kari Kaski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julius Huttunen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Kaski having to interfere. Into Kouhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kari Kaski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Into Kouhi in the 97th minute of play forced Porkanranta's goalkeeper Kari Kaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Imatran palloseura had played much better football throughout.
