Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jyrki Kuhta started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Lamperi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmer Rimpiläinen to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuukka Lahtela during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lamperi booed when Porkanranta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuukka Lahtela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lamperi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artturi Norrena in the 9th minute. Kaj Lydman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Daniel Hakaniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rasmus Virtanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tapani Lehterä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tapani Lehterä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rasmus Virtanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasmus Virtanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Heikkinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Lamperi's goal looked a bit too open when Tapani Lehterä came free, but Rasmus Virtanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Roni Heikkinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Virtanen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artturi Norrena was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Jyrki Kuhta had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 31 minutes into the game, Hannes Hahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porkanranta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lamperi the free kick. Hannes Hahl hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Daniel Hakaniemi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Hakaniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Kaski having to interfere. Tapani Lehterä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lamperi's goalkeeper Rasmus Virtanen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lamperi's Daniel Hakaniemi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hakaniemi in the 61st minute of play forced Porkanranta's goalkeeper Kari Kaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Hakaniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Kaski having to interfere. Tapani Lehterä struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rasmus Virtanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porkanranta. Porkanranta's Kari Kaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hakaniemi in the 69th minute of play. Tuukka Lahtela was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Lamperi booed when Porkanranta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuukka Lahtela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kari Kaski came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Lamperi's Daniel Hakaniemi. But to his dismay, Daniel Hakaniemi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 80th minute, Daniel Hakaniemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kari Kaski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Roni Heikkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kari Kaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Hakaniemi in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hakaniemi in the 92nd minute of play forced Porkanranta's goalkeeper Kari Kaski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roni Heikkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Porkanranta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lamperi.
