Topias Martikainen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakari Alanko in the 5th minute of play. Rauli Haapaporras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Topias Martikainen having to interfere. In the 12th minute of the match Mika Normio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iivo Riihijärvi skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Valentin Piispa managed to get in a good position for a shot. ŁKS Mlexer Elblag's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Piispa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iivo Riihijärvi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Piispa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iivo Riihijärvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Topias Martikainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakari Alanko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes ŁKS Mlexer Elblag got a freekick which was hit by Mika Normio. ŁKS Mlexer Elblag's Topias Martikainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juha-Pekka Virkkunen in the 25th minute of play. Anselmi Hagelberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Sakari Alanko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Piispa in the 40th minute of play forced Kätkä IFK's goalkeeper Iivo Riihijärvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ŁKS Mlexer Elblag booed when Kätkä IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valto Hietaharju didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valto Hietaharju charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valto Hietaharju the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Valto Hietaharju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Piispa made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Valentin Piispa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iivo Riihijärvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Hakaniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iivo Riihijärvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Rauli Haapaporras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kätkä IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rauli Haapaporras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Allan Hakaniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iivo Riihijärvi having to interfere. Topias Martikainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakari Alanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Piispa in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iivo Riihijärvi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakari Alanko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kätkä IFK's Eemeli Ikola got a free kick in the 83rd minute. ŁKS Mlexer Elblag's Samuli Tarvajärvi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kätkä IFK. Allan Hakaniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Valentin Piispa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iivo Riihijärvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, ŁKS Mlexer Elblag's Valentin Piispa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. When the match was over ŁKS Mlexer Elblag could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kätkä IFK throughout the match.
