Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kerkko Koivuranta kicked off to start the match. 15 minutes into the match, Kätkä IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kerkko Koivuranta came free, but Iivo Riihijärvi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kätkä IFK's zone, Rikhard Marttinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iivo Riihijärvi came out of the goal and Rikhard Marttinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th match minute, Ac Big Balls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Varis to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakari Alanko in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niko Häkkinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sakari Alanko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kätkä IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakari Alanko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niko Häkkinen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Kätkä IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rikhard Marttinen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Niko Häkkinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakari Alanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niko Häkkinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakari Alanko in the 43rd minute of the match. If Kerkko Koivuranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sakari Alanko made a kick off. Rauli Haapaporras scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niko Häkkinen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Ac Big Balls's Niko Häkkinen got control of the ball when Rauli Haapaporras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kätkä IFK's Sakari Alanko got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niko Häkkinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakari Alanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rauli Haapaporras took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niko Häkkinen. Niko Häkkinen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Iivo Riihijärvi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerkko Koivuranta's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Niko Häkkinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakari Alanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakari Alanko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rauli Haapaporras might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niko Häkkinen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rauli Haapaporras ran back to his position shaking his head. Kätkä IFK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
