Niko Grönvall charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niko Grönvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice moves Arttu Venäläinen could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Saul Puhakainen however easily saved by the left post. Arttu Venäläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Saul Puhakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kanto IFK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Raimo Vähä hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Anssi Puutio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanto IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anssi Puutio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarmo Karjala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommi Kuki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Saul Puhakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AMJFB booed when Kanto IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Topias Helavuori didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Niko Grönvall came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AMJFB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niko Grönvall couldn't finish the play. Raimo Vähä got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Kanto IFK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Raimo Vähä hit a great ball. Arvi Heino's late challenge caught a AMJFB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvi Heino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Kanto IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvi Heino to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Sulevi Palolahti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saul Puhakainen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Valentin Kananen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tommi Kuki made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Kanto IFK's Anssi Puutio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Anssi Puutio in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jarmo Karjala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Valentin Kananen came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kanto IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Kananen couldn't finish the play. Saul Puhakainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Grönvall in the 71st minute of the match. Arvi Heino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Puhakainen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arttu Venäläinen went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Kanto IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Kuki came free, but Saul Puhakainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, AMJFB's Tommi Kuki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Puhakainen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Kanto IFK got a freekick which was hit by Anssi Puutio. Arttu Venäläinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Saul Puhakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teppo Toivonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Puhakainen having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Kanto IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Kuki came free, but Saul Puhakainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Valentin Kananen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vili Alatalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarmo Karjala having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AMJFB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kanto IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
