Niko Reponen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kari Kurttila went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Vesa Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Reponen having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vesa Blomquist in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niko Reponen saved FC Daas from getting behind. Orvo Lydman's late challenge caught a Kainuunmäki IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvo Lydman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Daas getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Orvo Lydman hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Vesa Blomquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niko Reponen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vesa Blomquist went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Keijo Kevari hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Kainuunmäki IFK's Santeri Luoma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niko Reponen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niko Reponen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kari Kurttila in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Vesa Blomquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niko Reponen. FC Daas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vesa Blomquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 39th minute, Kari Kurttila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Vesa Blomquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Reponen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Kainuunmäki IFK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orvo Lydman to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Daas's goal looked a bit too open when Kari Kurttila came free, but Niko Reponen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kari Kurttila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Daas's Eerikki Ahonen got a free kick in the 86th minute. Voitto Uusikartano kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
