Kai Tarvainens short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Heikki Leino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 11 minutes on the clock, Jukka-Pekka Jääskeläinen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 11th minute, one of Team De Jésus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Team De Jésus. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, HolaHolaT's Tuomo Immonen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Heikki Leino. Teppo Valin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arto Jussilainen in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ilpo Kahra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arto Jussilainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HolaHolaT's Teppo Valin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arto Jussilainen in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in HolaHolaT's zone, Arto Jussilainen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teppo Valin came out of the goal and Arto Jussilainen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsti Mäkelä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Teppo Valin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kai Ollikainen struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Teppo Valin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team De Jésus. When Team De Jésus's Leif Helkamo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HolaHolaT's goalie prevented a goal. After 41 played minutes HolaHolaT got a freekick which was hit by Pentti Korpisalo. Arto Jussilainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teppo Valin having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 54th match minute, Team De Jésus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmeri Virolainen to maneuver through the defense. Kai Tarvainen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heikki Leino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, HolaHolaT's Kai Tarvainen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heikki Leino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Team De Jésus's Heikki Leino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksi Lindelöf in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, HolaHolaT's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arto Jussilainen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arto Jussilainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Ollikainen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teppo Valin came out and tried to block the shot, but Kai Ollikainen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute, Kai Tarvainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the HolaHolaT defense, Arto Jussilainen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teppo Valin. The HolaHolaT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teppo Valin should have stopped the shot. Arto Jussilainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teppo Valin having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Team De Jésus got a freekick which was hit by Pietari Laaksonen. If Arto Jussilainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team De Jésus were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
