Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaarle Rimpiläinen took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Sosiaalinen pelko's Jukka-Pekka Rantala got control of the ball when Aimo Furuholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sosiaalinen pelko getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mauno Pelttari hit a great ball. Aimo Furuholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sosiaalinen pelko booed when Ville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saku Salermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukka-Pekka Rantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuomas Bruun in the 13th minute of play. Aimo Furuholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jukka-Pekka Rantala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Sosiaalinen pelko's Ismo Kousa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aimo Furuholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Tuomas Bruun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jukka-Pekka Rantala. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Ville FC's Tuomas Bruun got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tuomas Bruun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jukka-Pekka Rantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jukka-Pekka Rantala made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Aimo Furuholm sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Aimo Furuholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimo Furuholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sosiaalinen pelko's zone, Tuomas Bruun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jukka-Pekka Rantala came out of the goal and Tuomas Bruun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ville FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Turo Ylönen hit a great ball. When Ville FC's Arvi Saravo in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sosiaalinen pelko's goalie prevented a goal. Aimo Furuholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jukka-Pekka Rantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimo Furuholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jukka-Pekka Rantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuomas Bruun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tuomas Bruun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalevi Perälä during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tuomas Bruun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aimo Furuholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jukka-Pekka Rantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimo Furuholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Jukka-Pekka Rantala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tuomas Bruun went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tuomas Bruun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuomas Bruun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jukka-Pekka Rantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sosiaalinen pelko's Jukka-Pekka Rantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuomas Bruun in the 98th minute of play. Ville FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
