With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilkka Karalahti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Ukko Järvinen made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Piltola FC's Ilkka Karalahti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilkka Karalahti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaarle Rimpiläinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Pertti Somervuori charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Myötänen to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Piltola FC got a freekick which was hit by Tauno Häkkinen. 55 minutes into the match, Piltola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kaarle Rimpiläinen came free, but Ilkka Karalahti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sosiaalinen pelko's Ismo Kousa got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Tauno Häkkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Marko Myötänen made a precise shot to the right of Jukka-Pekka Rantala. Sosiaalinen pelko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jukka-Pekka Rantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tauno Häkkinen in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Piltola FC's Ilkka Karalahti got control of the ball when Ukko Järvinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ukko Järvinen struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ilkka Karalahti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sosiaalinen pelko. Jukka-Pekka Rantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tauno Häkkinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Kaarle Rimpiläinen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ilkka Karalahti. The goal made the score 1-2. After a rather tough play, Sosiaalinen pelko's Kaarle Rimpiläinen got a free kick in the 96th minute.
