Spectators: 6861 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reijo Mäkilä took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Reijo Mäkilä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksi Huikari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Nissi got a freekick which was hit by Aatos Immonen. Lauri Vahalahti might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Laaksonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauri Vahalahti ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the game, Aatos Immonen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksi Huikari. Aatos Immonen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jyri Wahlroos got free with Aleksi Huikari in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leo Laaksonen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yrjänä Nylund's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jyri Wahlroos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksi Huikari having to make a save. 22 minutes into the game, Reijo Mäkilä recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksi Huikari. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yrjänä Nylund to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Leo Laaksonen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jyri Wahlroos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aleksi Huikari. Aatos Immonen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Nissi got a freekick which was hit by Aatos Immonen. Nissi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
