Spectators: 6862 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1812, VIP seats: 50) Atso Kangaskorpi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. KooTeePee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Aatos Immonen scored to the left of an out of position Toni Strömberg, making the score, 1-0. Jyri Wahlroos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toni Strömberg having to interfere. KooTeePee's Toni Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ylermi Ahonen in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Nissi's goal looked a bit too open when Atso Kangaskorpi came free, but Leo Laaksonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Henrikki Palsola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nissi's Tarvo Katila shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jyri Wahlroos couldn't finish the play. If Atso Kangaskorpi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Kukkonen kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes KooTeePee got a freekick which was hit by Hemmo Suoraniemi. In the 24thth minute of the game Atso Kangaskorpi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nissi's Leo Laaksonen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Päiviö Repo's late challenge caught a KooTeePee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Päiviö Repo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute of the match Päiviö Huokko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Laaksonen skillfully saved the ball. Nissi's Leo Laaksonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomi Nieminen in the 29th minute of play. Atso Kangaskorpi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leo Laaksonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julius Martikainen's late challenge caught a KooTeePee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Martikainen helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Hemmo Suoraniemi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Laaksonen was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Tomi Nieminen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Reijo Mäkilä made the kick off in the second half. Hemmo Suoraniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Nissi's Jyri Wahlroos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jyri Wahlroos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Atso Kangaskorpi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Laaksonen having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Nissi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jyri Wahlroos to maneuver through the defense. Toni Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyri Wahlroos in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of KooTeePee booed when Nissi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarvo Katila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hemmo Suoraniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jyri Wahlroos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nissi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jyri Wahlroos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toni Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atso Kangaskorpi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Leo Laaksonen made a huge save. If Atso Kangaskorpi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atso Kangaskorpi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Laaksonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrikki Palsola in the 91st minute of the match. KooTeePee's Toni Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyri Wahlroos in the 92nd minute of play. Leo Laaksonen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Päiviö Huokko. KooTeePee were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
