Jääskä's Paavo Lehti got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paavo Lehti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyösti Villanen having to interfere. With a little luck, FC LeHo's Kyösti Villanen got control of the ball when Paavo Lehti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jääskä's Atro Heinikangas got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Jääskä's Vesa Tammisto in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LeHo's goalie prevented a goal. If Toni Pisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Jääskä got a freekick which was hit by Aleksi Kalto. 34 minutes into the match, Jääskä's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Pisto came free, but Ismo Kuusela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kosti Antila in the 39th minute of play forced Jääskä's goalkeeper Ismo Kuusela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismo Kuusela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Pisto in the 41st minute of the match. FC LeHo's Kyösti Villanen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vesa Tammisto in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Kaarlo Keskinarkaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jääskä's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaarlo Keskinarkaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyösti Villanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Pisto to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aatami Lahtela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vesa Tammisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kyösti Villanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paavo Lehti in the 56th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC LeHo's Ismo Kuusela threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toni Pisto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kosti Antila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismo Kuusela having to interfere. If Kosti Antila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosti Antila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kosti Antila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ismo Kuusela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismo Kuusela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Pisto in the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Jääskä's goalkeeper Ismo Kuusela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kosti Antila. When Toni Pisto came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the FC LeHo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Pisto couldn't finish the play. Vesa Tammisto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paavo Lehti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyösti Villanen having to interfere. Jääskä were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC LeHo for a fine match.
