Mylly's Petri Vaakanainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eero Kallioniemi in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Hemminki Raukko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mylly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hemminki Raukko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leevi Kangasniemi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Esa Valin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Vaakanainen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mylly's zone, Eero Kallioniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petri Vaakanainen came out of the goal and Eero Kallioniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mylly's goal looked a bit too open when Esa Valin came free, but Petri Vaakanainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aku Ahola hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Eero Kallioniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petri Vaakanainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Mylly's goal looked a bit too open when Eero Kallioniemi came free, but Petri Vaakanainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eero Kallioniemi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hemminki Raukko might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timo Ahonen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hemminki Raukko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th minute Atro Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Ahonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Mylly's Hemminki Raukko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timo Ahonen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Timo Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atro Eklund in the 63rd minute of play. Mylly's Petri Vaakanainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eero Kallioniemi in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Atro Eklund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Timo Ahonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hemminki Raukko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timo Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atro Eklund in the 82nd minute of play. Petri Vaakanainen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Kallioniemi in the 84th minute of the match. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
