Spectators: 7279 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toni Uhlbäck kicked off to start the match. If Toni Uhlbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes FC VÄPELÖ got a freekick which was hit by Mikko Hakala. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC VÄPELÖ! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for JJ Puujalat. Nikodemus Sulin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Petri Vainio. 0-1. If Toni Uhlbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, FC VÄPELÖ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uoti Pasoja to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, JJ Puujalat's Asmo Ruohiainen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, JJ Puujalat's goalkeeper Tero Keinänen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olli-Pekka Peteri. In the 31st minute, Olli-Pekka Peteri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VÄPELÖ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Benjamin Hannus notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC VÄPELÖ's Petri Vainio. Petri Vainio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Tuomas Ramstadius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilpo Törmänen made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Toni Uhlbäck took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Petri Vainio to make any attempt to save it. Tero Keinänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilpo Törmänen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikodemus Sulin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC VÄPELÖ's Jaakob Penttinen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Uoti Pasoja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Olli-Pekka Peteri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC VÄPELÖ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. A hard shot 73 in the game by Benjamin Hannus from a close distance when the talented Petri Vainio managed to make a qualified save. FC VÄPELÖ's players were relieved. Toni Uhlbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Vainio having to interfere. Tero Keinänen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilpo Törmänen's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Ilpo Törmänen took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tero Keinänen. Tero Keinänen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Hannus got free with Petri Vainio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
