The audience thought a goal was coming when Miro Willman got free with Jori Puurula in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sami Helkamo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jori Puurula having to interfere. Sami Helkamo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jori Puurula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JRiikolan Tiimi. JRiikolan Tiimi's Aimo Hassinen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Puistokadun Predators got a freekick which was hit by Juha-Pekka Nielikäinen. Jori Puurula was a little too slow when Aimo Hassinen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aimo Hassinen in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jori Puurula saved Puistokadun Predators from getting behind. Aimo Hassinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jori Puurula made a huge save. Sami Helkamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jori Puurula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of JRiikolan Tiimi booed when Puistokadun Predators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vesa Lumio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, JRiikolan Tiimi's goal looked a bit too open when Jimi Murto came free, but Mika Takavirta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aimo Hassinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puistokadun Predators's Jori Puurula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aimo Hassinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Aimo Hassinen made the kick off in the second half. Jori Puurula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Helkamo in the 52nd minute of the match. Aimo Hassinen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Jori Puurula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JRiikolan Tiimi. Aimo Hassinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jori Puurula. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimo Hassinen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute, Sami Helkamo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aimo Hassinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JRiikolan Tiimi's Sami Helkamo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jori Puurula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimo Hassinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juha-Pekka Nielikäinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the game, JRiikolan Tiimi's Aimo Hassinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jori Puurula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Puistokadun Predators's Mika Takavirta threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juha-Pekka Nielikäinen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 76th minute Tahvo Heikkinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mika Takavirta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to JRiikolan Tiimi getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Miska Piiroinen hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, JRiikolan Tiimi's goal looked a bit too open when Juha-Pekka Nielikäinen came free, but Mika Takavirta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
