Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kalervo Junnila took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Risto Mäki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Jimi Rantamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Pasoja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Kikkihiiri's goal looked a bit too open when Jimi Rantamäki came free, but Rafael Pasoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Pasoja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Risto Mäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Rafael Pasoja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimi Rantamäki went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th play minute Verneri Enola came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Risto Hotakainen. 1-1. In the 25th minute Oskari Järvenperä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Risto Hotakainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kronoby's Risto Hotakainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalervo Junnila in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalervo Junnila in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Risto Hotakainen saved Kronoby from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilmo Korhonen during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kronoby booed when Kikkihiiri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmo Korhonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Risto Mäki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kronoby's supporters rose to their feet, but Risto Mäki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Pasoja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jimi Rantamäki made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Pasoja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Raninen in the 59th minute. A collision led to Kikkihiiri getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Oskari Järvenperä hit a great ball. 61 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kronoby's Jimi Rantamäki fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Kalervo Junnila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Risto Hotakainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Kalervo Junnila elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Risto Mäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kikkihiiri's Rafael Pasoja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Risto Mäki in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Jimi Rantamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Pasoja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Touko Sinkkonen from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Rafael Pasoja's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Kikkihiiri's Rafael Pasoja got control of the ball when Risto Mäki tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Verneri Enola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verneri Enola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kronoby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kikkihiiri.
