When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vilho Kaukonen sped through FC Kaskas 06's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Otto Järventie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuutti Multaharju in the 8th minute of play forced Kaunaa FC's goalkeeper Rauli Harju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konsta Wesslin during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Konsta Wesslin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilho Kaukonen in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otto Järventie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manne Ruutu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Jaakob Mäkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, FC Kaskas 06 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jouni Kalliokoski to maneuver through the defense. Jaakob Mäkinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rauli Harju having to interfere. Rauli Harju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaakob Mäkinen in the 25th minute of the match. Erno Hannukainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otto Järventie having to make a save. Rauli Harju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuutti Multaharju, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Nuutti Multaharju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuutti Multaharju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaakob Mäkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuutti Multaharju struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Rauli Harju didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kaskas 06. After 45 played minutes FC Kaskas 06 got a freekick which was hit by Viljami Turunen. Jaakob Mäkinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Nuutti Multaharju made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaakob Mäkinen got free with Rauli Harju in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the FC Kaskas 06 defense, Erno Hannukainen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Otto Järventie. The FC Kaskas 06 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otto Järventie should have stopped the shot. If Nuutti Multaharju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuutti Multaharju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rauli Harju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaunaa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Nuutti Multaharju scored to the left of an out of position Rauli Harju, making the score, 2-1. Nuutti Multaharju received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rauli Harju came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuutti Multaharju slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 76th minute. If Jaakob Mäkinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Kaskas 06 booed when Kaunaa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konsta Wesslin didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kaskas 06's Saku Jokiranta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rauli Harju in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 96 minutes, Nuutti Multaharju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kaskas 06's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuutti Multaharju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
