Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kustaa Eskelinen made the kick off which started today's match. When Usko Noponen fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heikkisenniva FC's protests and gave Usko Noponen a yellow card for diving instead. Usko Noponen kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Voitto Lahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jyrki Pietilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raine Sulku took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Voitto Lahti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Koivulahti IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kustaa Eskelinen came free, but Raine Sulku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Koivulahti IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pertti Lahikainen to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Voitto Lahti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raine Sulku was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jyrki Pietilä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sulevi Holttinen charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sulevi Holttinen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Heikkisenniva FC got a freekick which was hit by Sulevi Holttinen. Koivulahti IFK's Jyrki Pietilä was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jonni Rantanen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvar Jokela came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonni Rantanen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 33rd minute. In the 36th match minute, Koivulahti IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veikka Reinikka to maneuver through the defense. Verneri Ahonen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raine Sulku. Koivulahti IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Koivulahti IFK got a corner. Heikkisenniva FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konstantin Hyökyvaara ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 46th minute of the match Nikolai Sairanen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raine Sulku showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kustaa Eskelinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raine Sulku having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Alvar Jokela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonni Rantanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Heikkisenniva FC's Kustaa Eskelinen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 61 minutes into the match, Koivulahti IFK's goalkeeper Raine Sulku had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Voitto Lahti. Raine Sulku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kustaa Eskelinen in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Koivulahti IFK defense, Kustaa Eskelinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raine Sulku. The Koivulahti IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raine Sulku should have stopped the shot. Kustaa Eskelinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raine Sulku having to interfere. Kustaa Eskelinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raine Sulku read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Jyrki Pietilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veikka Reinikka got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Veikka Reinikka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Heikkisenniva FC got a freekick which was hit by Usko Noponen. A collision led to Koivulahti IFK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Konstantin Hyökyvaara hit a great ball. Alvar Jokela came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Koivulahti IFK's Jyrki Pietilä. But to his dismay, Jyrki Pietilä quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Koivulahti IFK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
