Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joni Venäläinen in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raine Sulku prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fc Pallipoiskad! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Koivulahti IFK. Konstantin Hyökyvaara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kosti Paappanen. 2-0. After 29 minutes, Ville Lumme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Pallipoiskad and the Koivulahti IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ville Lumme kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Urpo Riippa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Koivulahti IFK's zone, Urpo Riippa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raine Sulku came out of the goal and Urpo Riippa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantin Hyökyvaara hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Urpo Riippa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Raine Sulku skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joni Venäläinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joni Venäläinen in the 95th minute of play forced Koivulahti IFK's goalkeeper Raine Sulku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urpo Riippa got free with Raine Sulku in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Fc Pallipoiskad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Koivulahti IFK throughout the match.
