In the 9th minute Kasperi Kangaskorpi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aarno Hakanpää saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasperi Kangaskorpi succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Eerikki Penttinen was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Vili Lumijärvi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vili Lumijärvi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After a rather tough play, ST.MICHEL's Niklas Heinola got a free kick in the 24th minute. FC Billnäs's Uolevi Ukkonen got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Kasperi Kangaskorpi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Johansson got free with Eerikki Penttinen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eerikki Penttinen having to interfere. ST.MICHEL's Vili Lumijärvi got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vili Lumijärvi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Billnäs's zone, Niklas Heinola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerikki Penttinen came out of the goal and Niklas Heinola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasperi Kangaskorpi to make the kick off. Kasperi Kangaskorpi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Uolevi Ukkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kasperi Kangaskorpi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the game, Kuisma Jämsä was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ST.MICHEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Billnäs the free kick. In the 56th minute, Kuisma Jämsä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uolevi Ukkonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarno Hakanpää having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Johansson in the 64th minute of play forced FC Billnäs's goalkeeper Eerikki Penttinen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aarno Hakanpää took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasperi Kangaskorpi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eerikki Penttinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niklas Heinola might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eerikki Penttinen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Heinola ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 80 minutes, Uolevi Ukkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Billnäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uolevi Ukkonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uolevi Ukkonen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aarno Hakanpää having to interfere. Kasperi Kangaskorpi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aarno Hakanpää tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Uolevi Ukkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
