Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arttu Siltavirta got the match started through his kick off. Ahto Valkealahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arttu Siltavirta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahto Valkealahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilkka Kukkamäki having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Ahto Valkealahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uimaharju's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahto Valkealahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilkka Kukkamäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahto Valkealahti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hyövälti's zone, Ahto Valkealahti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilkka Kukkamäki came out of the goal and Ahto Valkealahti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahto Valkealahti in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilkka Kukkamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uimaharju's Tuukka Rämö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kari Kallioniemi in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uimaharju's Eelis Saarelainen got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ossi Reponen's late challenge caught a Hyövälti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ossi Reponen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, one of Uimaharju:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uimaharju. In the 39th minute, Ahto Valkealahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ilkka Kukkamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arttu Siltavirta in the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kari Kallioniemi made a kick off. Tuukka Rämö came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hyövälti's Kari Kallioniemi. But to his dismay, Kari Kallioniemi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 56 minutes into the match, Uimaharju's Arttu Siltavirta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilkka Kukkamäki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arttu Siltavirta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ilkka Kukkamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arttu Siltavirta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilkka Kukkamäki having to interfere. If Ahto Valkealahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arttu Siltavirta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilkka Kukkamäki made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ahto Valkealahti sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute, Valentin Tukio made a precise shot to the right of Tuukka Rämö. Uimaharju's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Hyövälti's Oiva Lähitie got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Arttu Siltavirta came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Uimaharju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arttu Siltavirta couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonne Paappanen during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hyövälti getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jonne Paappanen hit a great ball. If Eelis Saarelainen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Kari Kallioniemi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hyövälti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Uimaharju's Ahto Valkealahti got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hyövälti were victorious despite being under pressure from Uimaharju for much of the match.
