Jaakkima Pylkäs made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Kim Penttilä sent off a good shot on target. After 13 played minutes Kim Penttilä rounded pallo-lohet resurreccion's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Raimo Jämsänen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. pallo-lohet resurreccion's Jaakkima Pylkäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Penttilä in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Penttilä in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaakkima Pylkäs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Tarmo Ahonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the pallo-lohet resurreccion and the Menikkala IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, pallo-lohet resurreccion's Tarmo Ahonen got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 28th match minute, Menikkala IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Olkkonen to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Menikkala IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Veli Lumme came free, but Kustaa Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Penttilä in the 34th minute of play forced pallo-lohet resurreccion's goalkeeper Jaakkima Pylkäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimo Jämsänen got free with Jaakkima Pylkäs in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, pallo-lohet resurreccion's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Penttilä came free, but Jaakkima Pylkäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Penttilä to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Markus Olkkonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menikkala IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Olkkonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaakkima Pylkäs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Menikkala IFK's Kim Penttilä nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaakkima Pylkäs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jaakkima Pylkäs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimo Jämsänen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kustaa Tuominen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veli Lumme in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Menikkala IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Tirkkonen came free, but Kustaa Tuominen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Veli Lumme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Menikkala IFK's Kustaa Tuominen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Menikkala IFK from getting a goal against them. Raimo Jämsänen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaakkima Pylkäs having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Penttilä in the 82nd minute of play forced pallo-lohet resurreccion's goalkeeper Jaakkima Pylkäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaakkima Pylkäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Penttilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kim Penttilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Tirkkonen took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kustaa Tuominen. Kustaa Tuominen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Menikkala IFK had played much better football throughout.
