Spectators: 7755 (Terracing: 5818, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arttu Siltavirta got the match started through his kick off. Rovala FC's Aatu Vaakanainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahto Valkealahti in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Ahto Valkealahti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uimaharju's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahto Valkealahti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arttu Siltavirta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eelis Saarelainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aatu Vaakanainen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rovala FC's zone, Ahto Valkealahti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aatu Vaakanainen came out of the goal and Ahto Valkealahti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Rovala FC got a freekick which was hit by Juhapekka Vatanen. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Arttu Siltavirta sped through Rovala FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aatu Vaakanainen. Sulevi Känsäkangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sulevi Känsäkangas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tuukka Rämö firmly grabbed it by the left post. Juhapekka Vatanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uimaharju's Tuukka Rämö proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Uimaharju from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Sami Kangasalusta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tuukka Rämö. The goal made the score 1-1. Juhapekka Vatanen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Uimaharju's Leif Perämäki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aatu Vaakanainen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sami Kangasalusta was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Rovala FC defense, Ahto Valkealahti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aatu Vaakanainen. The Rovala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aatu Vaakanainen should have stopped the shot. If Arttu Siltavirta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arttu Siltavirta struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Aatu Vaakanainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uimaharju. 64 minutes into the match, Rovala FC's goalkeeper Aatu Vaakanainen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahto Valkealahti. After some careless play in the Uimaharju defense, Sami Kangasalusta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tuukka Rämö. The Uimaharju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tuukka Rämö should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulevi Känsäkangas in the 70th minute of play forced Uimaharju's goalkeeper Tuukka Rämö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Rovala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arttu Siltavirta came free, but Aatu Vaakanainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eelis Saarelainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahto Valkealahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Aatu Vaakanainen made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Kangasalusta in the 81st minute of play forced Uimaharju's goalkeeper Tuukka Rämö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes, Jaakko Nurminen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovala FC and the Uimaharju players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaakko Nurminen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Sami Kangasalusta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahto Valkealahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aatu Vaakanainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
