In the 2nd minute of the game, Sami Wesslin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 3 minutes into the game, Ernesti Kousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hyövälti the free kick. A collision led to Altona FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ernesti Kousa hit a great ball. Valentin Tukio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesse Höök having to interfere. Jesse Höök made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Valentin Tukio sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes, Jarno Rautee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyövälti and the Altona FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Hyövälti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarno Rautee to maneuver through the defense. Jarno Rautee hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ilkka Kukkamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksanteri Levokari, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Willman in the 21st minute of play forced Hyövälti's goalkeeper Ilkka Kukkamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hyövälti's Eetu Salonen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Altona FC's Aleksanteri Levokari got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Rasmus Willman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hyövälti's Ilkka Kukkamäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Valentin Tukio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valentin Tukio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hyövälti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Tukio couldn't finish the play. Aleksanteri Levokari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ilkka Kukkamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Höök made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Tukio in the 39th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Rasmus Willman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Willman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Aleksanteri Levokari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilkka Kukkamäki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksanteri Levokari to strike the kick off in the second half. If Valentin Tukio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Rasmus Willman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Willman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilkka Kukkamäki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hyövälti's Kari Kallioniemi got a free kick in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Altona FC's Marko Kesä broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kari Kallioniemi charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kari Kallioniemi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Altona FC booed when Hyövälti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kari Kallioniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Altona FC's Aleksanteri Levokari in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ilkka Kukkamäki guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Jarno Rautee hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Aleksanteri Levokari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksanteri Levokari in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilkka Kukkamäki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rasmus Willman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ilkka Kukkamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hyövälti booed when Altona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesti Kousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Hyövälti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Altona FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
