After 18 played minutes pallo-lohet resurreccion got a freekick which was hit by Tarmo Ahonen. Ilkka Kukkamäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veli Lumme in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Sami Wesslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilkka Kukkamäki came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by pallo-lohet resurreccion's Veli Lumme. But to his dismay, Veli Lumme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Veli Lumme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ilkka Kukkamäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Valentin Tukio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but pallo-lohet resurreccion's Jaakkima Pylkäs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Tukio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jaakkima Pylkäs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Tirkkonen struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ilkka Kukkamäki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for pallo-lohet resurreccion. In the 42nd minute, Elias Tirkkonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elias Tirkkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Tukio might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaakkima Pylkäs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Tukio ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Veli Lumme was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Tirkkonen in the 52nd minute of play forced Hyövälti's goalkeeper Ilkka Kukkamäki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
