Juha Hautaojas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Nuutti Salo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 44 minutes, Päiviö Luotonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jokela and the Sentimiento Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sentimiento Boca Juniors booed when Jokela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Päiviö Luotonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sentimiento Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nuutti Salo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jalmari Kärki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nuutti Salo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jalmari Kärki in the 66th minute of play forced Sentimiento Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Nuutti Salo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
