Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juha Naskali got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Chupapi Munyayo's Aleksis Viander got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute, FC Suntti's Juha Naskali dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Santtu Noponen came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Suntti's Jorma Rimpiläinen. But to his dismay, Jorma Rimpiläinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Timo Hakanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Chupapi Munyayo's goal looked a bit too open when Juha Naskali came free, but Santtu Noponen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Alatalo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Santtu Noponen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juha Naskali in the 19th minute of play. Santtu Noponen was a little too slow when Juha Naskali got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 27th minute, Aleksis Viander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorma Rimpiläinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Santtu Noponen made a huge save. Mika Pihlajamäki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Chupapi Munyayo's Mika Pihlajamäki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hannu Hakaniemi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mika Pihlajamäki made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Suntti's zone, Mika Pihlajamäki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannu Hakaniemi came out of the goal and Mika Pihlajamäki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mika Pihlajamäki in the 69th minute of play forced FC Suntti's goalkeeper Hannu Hakaniemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Jorma Rimpiläinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santtu Noponen. Chupapi Munyayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorma Rimpiläinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 79 minutes into the match, Chupapi Munyayo's goal looked a bit too open when Aaro Puhakainen came free, but Santtu Noponen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Juha Naskali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Suntti players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
