Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pekka Hietalahti got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Maunu Laakso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maunu Laakso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kim Miettinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulho Niinimäki having to interfere. Puso FC's Maunu Laakso got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Topi Koivumäki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bänkvärmarnas Bollklubb's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Keijo Miinalainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Puso FC's players had a chance to rest. Sulho Niinimäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Miettinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maunu Laakso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sulho Niinimäki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sauli Leinonen's late challenge caught a Bänkvärmarnas Bollklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sauli Leinonen helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Puso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pekka Hietalahti came free, but Petri Uusiniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Miettinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sulho Niinimäki having to interfere. If Kim Miettinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pekka Hietalahti took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petri Uusiniemi. Petri Uusiniemi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Puso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bänkvärmarnas Bollklubb were winning 0-1.

Kim Miettinen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sulho Niinimäki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Pekka Hietalahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petri Uusiniemi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pekka Hietalahti's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Kaj Harikkala's late challenge caught a Bänkvärmarnas Bollklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaj Harikkala helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Puso FC's Kaj Harikkala got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sulho Niinimäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Miettinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Järvensivu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bänkvärmarnas Bollklubb's Sulho Niinimäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Miettinen in the 69th minute of play. Sulho Niinimäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Miettinen in the 71st minute of the match. Veijo Hakanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Petri Uusiniemi made a huge save. Veijo Hakanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Uusiniemi having to interfere. When Kim Miettinen came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Puso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kim Miettinen couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Maunu Laakso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
