After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jori Timmonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pasin Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jori Timmonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eero Lönnblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eelis Louke made the kick off in the second half. Eero Lönnblad made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Aimo Ruisniemi sent off a good shot on target. Jori Timmonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eero Lönnblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aimo Ruisniemi's late challenge caught a AC Vaalimaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimo Ruisniemi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AC Vaalimaa booed when Pasin Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimo Ruisniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iikka Kuparinen might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maunu Salomaa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iikka Kuparinen ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Jouko Heinikallio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eero Lönnblad. That made the score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, AC Vaalimaa's Iikka Kuparinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maunu Salomaa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pasin Team booed when AC Vaalimaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaakoppi Tervonen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jori Timmonen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Pasin Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jori Timmonen couldn't finish the play. Pasin Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
