Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5802, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Atte Vihtilä got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Kulbacka FC's Lassi Lagerblom got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Eelis Rovio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atte Vihtilä in the 5th minute of play. Kulbacka FC's Auno Vaakanainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaakkima Noronen in the 8th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuukka Viitanen during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Tuukka Viitanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Terho Etula led 10 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kulbacka FC's Auno Vaakanainen became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. In the 16th minute, Atte Vihtilä ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eelis Rovio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Kulbacka FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lassi Lagerblom hit a great ball. Sumarinkylä FC's Jaakkima Noronen managed to work through Kulbacka FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jaakkima Noronen dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 27th minute Maunu Ahonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Auno Vaakanainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jaakkima Noronen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Sumarinkylä FC got a freekick which was hit by Tarmo Järvinen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maunu Ahonen in the 35th minute of play forced Kulbacka FC's goalkeeper Auno Vaakanainen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvo Selänne kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Maunu Ahonen took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Auno Vaakanainen to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Sumarinkylä FC's Urho Sulonen got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Jaakkima Noronen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Kulbacka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maunu Ahonen came free, but Auno Vaakanainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Jaakko Korkeamäki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kulbacka FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaakko Korkeamäki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Sumarinkylä FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulevi Pajula to maneuver through the defense. Eelis Rovio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaakko Korkeamäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Atte Vihtilä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eelis Rovio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Maunu Ahonen put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Auno Vaakanainen. If Jaakkima Noronen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaakkima Noronen might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Auno Vaakanainen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaakkima Noronen ran back to his position shaking his head. Maunu Ahonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Auno Vaakanainen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sumarinkylä FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
