Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC VIETKONG's Rami Peltoniemi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rami Peltoniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaakko Nyman having to interfere. After 9 minutes, Rami Siponen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat and the FC VIETKONG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rami Siponen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tenho Huttunen in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaakko Nyman saved Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Anselmi Kangaskorpi got a free kick in the 11th minute. When FC VIETKONG's Rami Peltoniemi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot by Eevert Kesä from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Mauno Leppiniemi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jukka Hedberg struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Mauno Leppiniemi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat. Tauno Kotilahti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauno Leppiniemi having to make a save. Tauno Kotilahti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauno Leppiniemi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Tauno Kotilahti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With splendid footwork Tauno Kotilahti arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 30th minute. Tauno Kotilahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mauno Leppiniemi made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Juhapekka Koponen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauno Leppiniemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jukka Hedberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tenho Huttunen in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaakko Nyman saved Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat from getting behind. Mauno Leppiniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jukka Hedberg in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jukka Hedberg was the one to do the kick off. FC VIETKONG's Mauno Leppiniemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jukka Hedberg in the 51st minute of play. Tauno Kotilahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juhapekka Koponen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Tauno Kotilahti, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Tauno Kotilahti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's supporters rose to their feet, but Tauno Kotilahti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauno Leppiniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes of play, Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Jukka Hedberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauno Leppiniemi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauno Leppiniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jukka Hedberg in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Jukka Hedberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauno Leppiniemi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 77th minute, Tauno Kotilahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tauno Kotilahti in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauno Leppiniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC VIETKONG booed when Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uolevi Kultanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Juhapekka Koponen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC VIETKONG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat the free kick. In the 86th minute, Juhapekka Koponen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes, Jukka Hedberg made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC VIETKONG's Mauno Leppiniemi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat had played much better football throughout.
