Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kari Lumijärvi got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Uuno Eronen managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Tauno Kotilahti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atte Virta kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A hard shot 5 in the game by Tauno Kotilahti from a close distance when the talented Uuno Eronen managed to make a qualified save. Pajasalmi IFK's players were relieved. In the 12th minute, Jukka Hedberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaakko Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Lumijärvi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Kari Lumijärvi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pajasalmi IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Tauno Kotilahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pajasalmi IFK's zone, Jukka Hedberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uuno Eronen came out of the goal and Jukka Hedberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tauno Kotilahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jukka Hedberg in the 39th minute of play forced Pajasalmi IFK's goalkeeper Uuno Eronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pajasalmi IFK's Uuno Eronen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pajasalmi IFK from getting a goal against them. Tauno Kotilahti struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Uuno Eronen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat.

The wind increased when Jukka Hedberg made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Tauno Kotilahti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tauno Kotilahti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uuno Eronen was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Uolevi Kultanen charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uolevi Kultanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pajasalmi IFK's Ilpo Kimmonen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat. Jukka Hedberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Tauno Kotilahti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th match minute, Pajasalmi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauno Kuoppala to maneuver through the defense. Sampsa Viitanen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uuno Eronen. Pajasalmi IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jukka Hedberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's supporters rose to their feet, but Jukka Hedberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uuno Eronen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erno Marttila hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's Sampsa Viitanen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uuno Eronen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat reached it. Uuno Eronen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jukka Hedberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tauno Kotilahti in the 85th minute of play forced Pajasalmi IFK's goalkeeper Uuno Eronen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jukka Hedberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uuno Eronen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tauno Kotilahti's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Tauno Kotilahti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Tauno Kotilahti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Uuno Eronen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat were the better team. Vetokannaksen Veli-Kullat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
