Spectators: 5420 (Terracing: 4200, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 20) In the 11th minute Tenho Huttunen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsti Rautee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juhapekka Koponen in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsti Rautee saved Lopenkyllastyny from getting behind. Julius Harikkala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsti Rautee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juhapekka Koponen in the 20th minute of play. Ari Anttila might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauno Leppiniemi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ari Anttila ran back to his position shaking his head. Ari Anttila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mauno Leppiniemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juhapekka Koponen during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juhapekka Koponen kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Mauno Leppiniemi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Anttila in the 31st minute of play. Julius Harikkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC VIETKONG's Mauno Leppiniemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save FC VIETKONG from getting a goal against them. Mauno Leppiniemi was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Ari Anttila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ari Anttila really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ari Anttila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauno Leppiniemi having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Lopenkyllastyny got a freekick which was hit by Julius Harikkala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teppo Hautaoja in the 45th minute of play forced Lopenkyllastyny's goalkeeper Torsti Rautee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Ari Anttila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauno Leppiniemi. FC VIETKONG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ari Anttila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lopenkyllastyny's Pertti Kangasalusta was substituted for Jaakko Petsamo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rami Peltoniemi made a kick off. Ari Anttila took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauno Leppiniemi. Mauno Leppiniemi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Julius Harikkala hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Juhapekka Koponen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ari Anttila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Anttila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rami Peltoniemi struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Torsti Rautee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC VIETKONG. Thanks to some nice moves Tenho Huttunen could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Torsti Rautee however easily saved by the left post. In the 77th minute, Pertti Kangasalusta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ari Anttila hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Lopenkyllastyny's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
