In the 21st minute Verneri Rimpilä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Kuivaharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lasse Kuivaharju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aapeli Lundell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Voitto Markkula made a kick off. Aapeli Lundell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Lasse Kuivaharju skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 72 minutes, Mikael Lähitie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Minos and the Saramo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes FC Minos got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Lähitie. Leevi Hernesniemi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aapeli Lundell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Kuivaharju having to interfere. Alvar Niinimäki's late challenge caught a FC Minos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Niinimäki helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saramo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Lasse Kuivaharju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taito Ruutu in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 100 minutes, Aapeli Lundell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Minos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aapeli Lundell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saramo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Minos had controlled the match.
